Liz Wellinghorst, principal of LW Communications, LLC, brings over two decades of experience as a communications professional.
Liz has worked as a reporter for five years for an NBC, ABC and Fox affiliate in North and South Carolina; in corporate public relations and experiential marketing for Mercedes-Benz USA in Montvale, N.J.; as a political press secretary on Capitol Hill; and in public affairs public relations for Edelman Public Relations Worldwide in Washington, D.C. She has anchored Volvo TV’s in-house training show to retailers across the country for Volvo Car USA in Rockleigh, New Jersey.
Her scope of work includes teaching public relations, broadcast journalism, public speaking, and media writing as an adjunct college professor for colleges and universities in North Carolina and New Jersey, as well as serving as the communications director for a large educational system in New Jersey. Liz holds a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
